Come and Get It Christmas Challenge continued...

Hello everyone! Hope that this post finds you all well. We are officially down to just over a week until Christmas and things here have been super busy as always! Thankfully my shopping is done so most of the things that we have been busy with is fun family stuff.

Today I have a second project to share with you too keep our Christmas challenge going this month. We were asked to make anything but a card and I knew that I had just the perfect thing to create! I had bought this small wooden sled I think last year on clearance. I've had it in my closet because I could never quite decide what to do with it. Well... I finally figured it out!

For my project I used an image from My Besties which you can find here: http://www.mybestiesshop.com/store/p2893/INSTANT_DOWNLOAD_Digital_Digi_Stamps_Big_Eye_Big_Head_Dolls_Digi_Besties_Img917_By_Sherri_Baldy.html . I printed this on my printer as an 8x10 image. But before doing that I edited this in the software that came with my printer and just flipped the image so that it would be on there the correct way. I then covered my sled in modpodge and applied the printed digi stamp face down on the sled and allowed it to dry over night. The next day I used a damp cloth to get the paper off and it left me with the transferred image.

To color the image I used my Sharpies. I would love to give you a list of the colors I used but sadly the markers do not have the name colors :( . So just go with whatever colors you wish ;) . The background is painted using acrylic paint and then it is sealed with mod podge again once everything is dry. I do however recommend the spray mod podge to seal this as it is much easier to use I find.

It is a bit hard to tell in this pic but the paper is a beautiful shiny gold, Just perfect for Christmas :). I will add a list of copic colors used below.

Come And Get It Thankful/Thank You Challenge

Hello everyone! Hope that you are all having an amazing weekend so far. Mine has been very busy but I have managed to squeeze in some time to craft ;) . We have a new challenge over at come and get it and then theme is Thankful/ Thank you. Today I have a Thanksgiving card to share with you all. What better way to say you are thankful for someone than by sending them a card in the mail wishing them a Happy Thanksgiving and letting them know you care!  I love sending out cards to my family and friends.  The digi stamp is by Paper Nest Dolls. I colored this card using my Spectrum Noir colored pencils.

Come And Get It - Purple, Orange, And Black

Hello everyone! I hope that this new post finds you all well. Today I am sharing a new card that I created for the newest challenge over at Come And Get It. Our challenge this time is Purple, Orange, And Black. I absolutely love this color combo this time of year and had a blast creating this card!

I added the digi stamp to this frame in design space and then colored it with my copics. Come And Get It Challenge - School TIme

Hello everyone! It is time for another challenge over at Come And Get It Designs Challenge blog. This weeks theme is School time! Perfect all of those in your life that are going back to school either as students or even as teachers.

For this card I worked with an adorable Digi set by Melonheads. You can find then set that I used here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/240844155/back-to-school-clip-art-part-2-combo?ga_search_query=school&ref=shop_items_search_12 . I brought the JPEG into my Cricut Design space software to create my card. The pattern paper used for the background is a pattern that was on Cricut Design Space also.  I brought all the elements that I wanted onto my mat and sized them to fit  a 4 x 5.25 rectangle. Once all my images were where I wanted them to be placed and sized correctly I grouped all and flattened the image so that it would print as one. I then added it to a light yellow card base.

Come And Get It Fantasy Challenge

Hello everyone! I hope that this blog post finds you well and that you have had a fabulous weekend. Weather here has been a bit cooler which has been nice after the triple digit heat we had. Our theme this week is Fantasy! This was so much fun to color up. The stamp that I used is by Nikki Burnette. Come and Get it Challenge - A day At The Fair!!

Hello, Hello everyone! Hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend so far! I stopping in to share with you a card that I created for the New Come and Get It Challenge. The theme for this challenge is day at the fair. And who doesn't love going to fairs in the summertime?!? This is such a fun challenge with so many possibilities.

Come And Get It Pink, Blue, Purple and Yellow Challenge

Hello everyone! I am here today to share a card that I created for the newest CAGI Challenge. The theme for this challenge is Color! We have chosen to use the colors Pink, Blue, Purple, and Yellow for this challenge. Which is a gorgeous combination if I do say so myself! I created this card using The June I do Wedding or Prom Digi stamps by My Besties. Come And Get It Summertime Challenge

Hello to all my crafty peeps! I am here today to share a card that I made using All dressed Up's Three Summer Girls digi stamp. I absolutely LOVE this adorable stamp! You can purchase this stamp at this link : https://www.etsy.com/listing/192018493/3-little-summer-girls . I'm not sure exactly where this card base if from I happened to have it laying min my stash and thought the bright colors are perfect for a Summer card!

I colored my digi stamp with Spectrum Noir Colourblend Pencils. I will add the colors at the end of this post for anyone who would like to know that colors that I used. The frame I cut using my Crafters Companion Gemini machine. The die is by Downtown Abbey and is called Ornate Decorative Frame. The pennant was cut using my  Cricut explore machine and a free shape that is available in the cricut store.

Create Your Own Background

Hello everyone! I have a card to share with you that I created for the Create your own background challenge over at Come and get it challenges! This is the link to the challenge blog: http://cagichallenge.blogspot.ca/ .

For this card I used The Bookworm Fairy Digi stamp from Oddball Art. You can find the stamp here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/272413678/instant-download-big-eye-bookworm-fairy?ga_search_query=bookworm+fairy&ref=shop_items_search_1 . I created my background using Spectrum Noir Watercolor Markers and colored the edge with a black sharpie. After this all dried and the image was printed on I added some star sequins.
