Good evening everyone! I have a another project to share with you! This 2nd challenge that peachy keen stamps hosted was so much fun to participate in. The challenge was to up-cycle something in your home.
I chose to up-cycle a toilet paper roll or two actually lol. To make this adorable ornament I covered two toilet paper rolls in pattern paper. The pattern paper that I used is by K&Co. I know it's hard to see in this photo and I apologize for that. I then cut each roll into 8 equal parts. I also cut 3/4 inch strips of paper that were 3 1/2 inches long and glued then in half. These are to use in between each toilet paper roll piece. Then just alternate and glue until you have a snowflake!
I stamped blue snowflakes onto the burlap and added rhinestones to the center of a few to make them stand out just a bit more. The stamps I used are from the July 2013 Stamp of the month kit and the November 2013 Stamp of the Month kit. You can find both of those here: http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/shop/previous-club-kits-page-2/ and also here: http://www.peachykeenstamps.com/shop/
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Scrappin,
