KDBD's challenge 8/9-8/23

Well here we are half way through August already and that means that fall will be here before we know it. This weeks challenge over at KaDoodle Bug Designs is to make a project featuring something you did with a child this summer. For my project I chose to use the Home Sweet Melon file and create this layout. One of my kids favorite snacks is watermelon and we have spent many days eating it. I really hope that you will all join in on the fun for this challenge! All you have to do to join is post your project to the KaDoodle Bug Designs  fanpage on facebook by midnight EST. Aug.23rd. I made this double layout using the Too Cute To Be Green file. I love the frogs in this file and thought it would be perfect for the pics I have of my son and his tree frog! The pattern paper is from DCWV.  I created tags using the simple tags file as well to go behind the pics to use for journaling and added stickles to the sun and water as well.

I made this double layout using The Surfin in style file. I love this file the penguins are just too cute! I used many different pattern papers on this layout and added stickles for some sparkle.

KDBD's challenge for 7/12-7/26

In honor of national baby food week the challenge over at KDBD's is to make a project using one of their baby files. Please note that our challenges are now every two weeks giving you two weeks to finish your project. All submissions must be on the KDBD fan page by midnight EST Thursday July 26th.

For my project I made this double layout using KDBD's Sweet as Can Bee file. This file is just adorable and could easily be used for a baby girl or boy page. Hope that you enjoy this layout and that you will particiapte in this challenge!

KDBD's weekly challenge 7/5-7/12

This week over at KDBD's the challenge is to use a bear file to create a project in honor of Teddy Bear picnic day July 10th. For my project this week I made a layout using the Sandbox bear and bear file along with the Turtle sandbox boy file. I used my paper tearing ruler for the grass and sanded the edges of the grass, and sandbox. Hope that you all will join in on the fun challenge this week!

KDBD Sweet as can bee file

I wanted to share this file that I put together really quick. I love this file and it could be used for many different types of layouts from baby to gardening. I added lots of stickles to make them sparkle! Hope that you enjoy this fast post and I  will have more in the days to come! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

KDBD weekly challenge 6/29-7/4

This weeks challenge is to make a layout or a double layout of your favorite family tradition during July 4th using a  KDBD cut file. I made this double layout using A Blasting 4th cut file. I added  lots of diamond stickles and also green stickles around the bushes to add some sparkle to the layout. The photo mats are sized for  3 1/2 x 5 photos. Most of the cardstock used is coredinations and I sanded the edges for the bears. Hope that you enjoy this layout and that you will join us for this fun challenge!
