First layouts made using my cricut imagine

Posted by PicasaOk so I am so excited about these layouts because I made them using only my cricut imagine! I have made cards with my imagine but never a layout. The top lay out I was actually inspired to make because on the Best Friend imagine cartridge there is a layout on the bonus feature that you can print and I loved it but I really wanted to be able to layer it and add some dimention which I could not do if I just printed it and there is no option to layer it so I made my own. I think that it turned out really cute although it is not a perfect match to the one on the bonus feature I still love it! All the patterns and art for that page is from the Best Friends cartridge and the Butterflies is from the shapes that are preloaded to the imagine machine.

The next layout I did also using my cricut imagine and I used the JT Art cartridge. I love this cartridge because it is more masculine than most and after printing this paper I have to say that I love it even more. The colors and patterns on this cartridge are just amazing! I doodled around the title to just add that little something to it and make it stand out a little more. Hope you like these layouts!

Latest Creations

Posted by PicasaWow it has been a while since I posted I really need to post more! Things have just been so busy around here with summer and all. Here are a few layouts that I have done the past couple of days. I am hard at work preparing to be part of a group at our local Farmers Market the first wednesday in August. I am so excited to be a part of this group and share my love for scrapping and card making other people. I am hoping to sell my layouts and cards during this event and this is my first time doing this so there is lots of work to be done and that also means that you will see lots of posts from me as I share my creations and experience with this. All of these layouts are 12x12 and for them I used  my cricut expression and the following cartridges: Toy Story, Tinkerbell and friends, Spongebob. I hope that you like what you see and come back often to see what else I have created!

This is the first challenge that I have done for DCWV blog and hope to do more as I always love a challenge. I hope that you all enjoy my LO!

A few new creations

Posted by PicasaOh it is so good to back back to scrapping again! I had hand surgery at the end of march and it all went well with the exception that the surgery took longer than planned and healing time was much longer than anticipated. I had no use of my hand for five weeks and finally was able to start using it just before my birthday and thank goodness because I go lots of scrapping goodies to play with! My wonderful husband bought me a cricut imagine which I just love even though right now I only have two cartridges it opens up a whole new world of things that you can do with your old cartridges for the original cricut or the expression. As you can probably tell I love it! I still use my expression as well so you will see projects from both.

I made this LO using my expression and my imagine. Thumper and Flower were cut from the Disney classics cartridge using my expression and the title was done using my imagine and the Alphalicious cricut cartridge. The card with the Guitar was made using my imagine machine and Lifes a Party cartridge. The wolf card was made using stampin up stamps that I got called Nature Silhouettes. Both cards are standard A2 size. Hope you enjoy these projects! Now that I am better I hope to be able to post more thank for looking!

Imaginisce Blog Challenge

Posted by PicasaSo this is the first time that I have ever done a challenge for this blog but it looked like so much fun that I just had to participate! I am fairly new to imaginisce paper line and so far I love it and can't wait to get more! I used the Dino Roar paper and embellishments for this card that I made for my son who will be turning eight. For this challenge I needed
Be sure to include 75% Imaginisce Products and the following:
1. Three Patterned Papers
2. Three Colors
3. Three Embellishments

All of which I used and the double sided papers in this  set makes it really easy to do and they all go together so well! I used chipboard stickers from this set along with rub ons and cut a border to fit the card, Hope that you like what you see and that you will come back to visit my blog again!
