Belle Card

I made this card for my sister in law to hold a gift that was for her mother. This is an 8 1/2 x 9 inch card so there is no envelope but it really didn't need to have one since it wasn't being mailed. Belle is cut at 5 1/2 inches. I added a small crocheted holly leaf. I glued a strip of cardstock on the inside to make a pocket to hold the gift. Hope you enjoy this project and I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday!

Peace on Earth

Posted by PicasaWell here we are only three days until Christmas day! Where did the time go? I made this card to share with everyone as I am the guest designer for KinderstampO today. This card is very simple and took me very little time from start to finish to complete. I figure with Christmas just a few days away a quick card would be nice. This is a standard 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I used my cricut imagine for the poinsettia. I cut the poinsettia at 3.5 inches. I also used gold stickles as well for the center of the poinsettia and around the sentiment. The sentiment is from KinderstampO Vintage and Traditional Holiday stamp set. You can purchase this stamp set at http://www.kinderstampo.com/ . This is a great stamp set and there are several sentiments in this set that you could use for non-holiday cards or projects as well! Hope that you enjoy this simple card and have a wonderful Christmas!!!

With Sympathy

I made this card about a week ago for a friend who needed a sympahty card. I do not actually own this stamp so I can not tell you who it is made by. I had went to a card making event a long time ago and got an extra stamped image of this flower. I thought that it was perfect for this occasion.  I colored the image using my watercolor pencils. The cardstock is Stampin' up Jolly Holiday. I used my Xyron design runner for the With Sympathy sentiment. The card is a 4 1/4x 5 1/2. Hope that you enjoy this!

KinderstampO Guest Deisgner Thursday- Everything's Better With Hot Chocolate

I am so excited to be the Guest Designer today for KinderstampO and share this project with you! This was a very simple card to make and took little time to put together. I used my cricut imagine and the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge for the pattern paper and the images as well. The stamp that I used is from KinderstampO Vintage and Traditional Holiday stamp set. I love these stamps and can't wait to have them all! If you are interested in buying them you can purchase them at http://www.kinderstampo.com/ . I printed and cut the images at 4.8 inches on my imagine. The pattern paper used for the background is from the same cartridge and I printed a 12x12 sheet. I cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece and used my sewing machine to stitch around the edge. This is the first time that I have added stitching and think that it turned out pretty well. I hope that you enjoy this card I will post the recipe for it for anyone who would like it.

Recipe:
Card base
Cricut imagine

Christmas card using Snow Angel cartridge

Posted by PicasaI made this Christmas card for a challenge over at http://www.mypinkstamper.com/ . This card is 5x7 and all pattern paper and images were printed and cut using my Cricut imagine machine and the Snow Angel Cartridge. I cut the sleigh and girl at 3 inches and the scalloped oval at 5 inches. I cut all layers and used pop dots to add dimension to the cuts. The scalloped oval was embossed using the D'vine Swirl embossing folder I then inked the edges using stampin up Dusty Durango ink pad and then added bling to the scalloped oval and the sleigh as well. Hope that you enjoy this card!

Halloween Centerpiece

Posted by PicasaI have been so in the mood for fall all the colors of the changing leaves and the cooler weather I love it! I made this centerpiece for Halloween using Kinderstampo Vintage Halloween stamp set. This was really simple to make all you need is:  Paper strips 6in x 1/4 in
Round foam wreath or I used a flower form
KinderstampO Vintage Halloween stamps
Hot Glue Gun
Candle holder and candle
Craft Wire
Cricut Imagine
Enjoy The Seasons Cartridge

You glue the paper strip onto the round Wreath or flower form letting them overlap each other. Once you have done the entire wreath ( You can do the sides also) I did strips of paper and put a scalloped bottom on. Stamp and heat emboss the sentiments onto whatever cardstock you want. Using craft wire and hot glue gun glue the the sentiments to the wire and stick into the form randomly. I used my Cricut imagine for the images and the Enjoy the Seasons cartridge. Hope you enjoy this!

Halloween Greetings

Today I made this very simple card. I actually got the idea from KinderstampO to do this. Jess at KidnerstampO did a Christmas one and I thought that it would make a really cute Halloween card as well. I am finding that the possibilities are just endless! The pattern paper that I used for this card was all printed on my Cricut Imagine using Enjoy The Seasons cartridge and the pumpkins were a shape that was already on my Imagine machine. The stamped sentiment is KinderstampO Vintage Halloween set. I just love these stamps! Here is a link to the site where you can find the card that inspired me to make my card and a wonderful video showing you how to do it. http://www.kinderstampo.com/search?updated-max=2011-09-21T09%3A30%3A00-05%3A00&max-results=3

I used five pumpkins to make my mine and inked the edges to add that little extra something. I also put it through my paper crimper once the glue was dry to add a little texture. Hope that you enjoy this card thanks for looking!

The stamp is from the stampin up set  Something to Celebrate. I cut the hearts from Doodlecharms and used a stampin up punch for the border. Hope that you like this simple card I will have more to share soon!

Woodland Christmas

Posted by PicasaToday I had and urge to make a Christmas LO. Yes I know that it is July but I just got the Cricut Imagine Snow Angel cartridge and I couldn't wait to use it. So I made this LO with Snow Angel cartridge. I used all white cardstock for this LO so everything was printed from the Imagine. I used pop dots on some cuts to add some dimension and tore some sparkling white paper that I had for the snow at the bottom. Hope that you like this LO!

Squirt Invitation

Posted by PicasaI Love Squirt from finding Nemo and thought that he would make a cute birthday invitation especially if your birthday is in the summer. So for this invitation I used Best of Pixar,George and Tags bags boxes and more cartridges. I was very simple to make just time consuming putting all of Squirt's  layers together. These invitaions will fit in a 5x7 envelope but of course if you were just handing them to people you could make them bigger which would probably make the layers for Squirt easier. Hope that you like them!

Thanks A Melon card

Posted by PicasaI just love this card off The Just Beacuse Cards Cartridge and had to make it after all it is summer and I thought what better card than a card with a watermelon on it during the summer! Now if only the weather here was more like summer so tired of the rain although it does make for good weather to craft in but seriously it is July where is the SUN? So for this card I used Just Beacause Cards and my Best Friends cricut imagine cartridge for the pattern. I just love using my imagine with original cartridges! It is a standard A2 size card. Hope that you like it there is more to come soon!

First layouts made using my cricut imagine

Posted by PicasaOk so I am so excited about these layouts because I made them using only my cricut imagine! I have made cards with my imagine but never a layout. The top lay out I was actually inspired to make because on the Best Friend imagine cartridge there is a layout on the bonus feature that you can print and I loved it but I really wanted to be able to layer it and add some dimention which I could not do if I just printed it and there is no option to layer it so I made my own. I think that it turned out really cute although it is not a perfect match to the one on the bonus feature I still love it! All the patterns and art for that page is from the Best Friends cartridge and the Butterflies is from the shapes that are preloaded to the imagine machine.

The next layout I did also using my cricut imagine and I used the JT Art cartridge. I love this cartridge because it is more masculine than most and after printing this paper I have to say that I love it even more. The colors and patterns on this cartridge are just amazing! I doodled around the title to just add that little something to it and make it stand out a little more. Hope you like these layouts!
